The final Round of the HCRC TNT’s also incorporated Round 7 of the Round Robin TT series, with 5 local clubs coming together to host a TT series on each other’s course, the 5 clubs being:- Hinckley Cycle Racing Club, Leicester Forest Cycling Club, Ratae Road Club, Rockingham Forest Wheelers and Welland Valley Cycling Club. 58 riders signed on at the start, on a warm night with a light 11 mph breeze from the South West. Results Overall – 1st Dave Mead (M I Racing) 20.09, 2nd Carl Shaw (Speedhub) 21.10 & 3rd Tommy Nolan (Ashby ICC) 21.22. (Both Carl and Tommy finished 2nd & 3rd at the last TNT) First female rider was Lydia Baxter (FTP Racing) 26.16, 2nd Milly Pinnock (WVCC) 26.26, 3rd Harriet Hughes (Jnr) RR (LFCC) 27.45. First Junior rider was Tyler Dyson (Aerologic) 24.37 & 2nd Harriet Hughes (LFCC) 27.45 With regards to the RR event, 1st James Moore (WVCC) 22.22, 2nd Adam Wells (RFW) 22.33 & 3rd Jonathan Durnin (WVCC) 23.24. The female riders 1st Milly Pinnock (WVCC), 2nd Harriet Hughes (LFCC Jnr) & 3rd Lynne Scofield (RFW) 28.40.

The event attracted 52 riders (39 riding the RR event) to the start on the K41/10 on a hot night with temperatures in the 30’s and a light 6 mph breeze from the East. Results Overall – 1st Oliver Searle (St Ives CC) 20.53, 2nd Carl Shaw (Speedhub) 21.19 & 3rd Tommy Nolan (Ashby ICC) 21.26. First female rider was Linda Hubbard (WVCC) RR 26.43, 2nd Laoise Bennis (WVCC) RR 27.46 & 3rd Lynne Scofield (RFW) RR 28.35. With regards to the RR event, 1st Adam Wells (RFW) 22.10, 2nd Hans Van Nierop (WVCC) 22.12 & 3rd James Moore (WVCC) 22.26. The female riders were all from the RR event. Round 7 of the HCRC TNT’s attracted 9 riders to the start on the K41/10 following the heatwave, we had a warm, overcast, with a 7 mph wind from the North West. Results Overall – 1st Stephen Spooner (Cov Tri) 20.43, 2nd Oliver Searle (St Ives CC) 21.05 & 3rd Tommy Nolan (Ashby ICC) 21.31. First female rider was Natalie Williamson (Cov Tri) 30.24, 2nd Sarah White (Cov Tri) 31.13 & 3rd Elaine Synnott (Cov Tri) 31.37. A great night for Cov Tri, taking first overall and a 1,2, 3 in the ladies. Joe Murray’s year goes from strength to strength with yet another fastest time on the K41/10 of 21.49. First HCRC rider home was Tony Davis in 28.57 and Tony’s fastest time of the year so far. Results Overall – 1st Oliver Searle (St Ives CC) 21.42, 2nd Chris Hyde (WVCC) 25.15 & 3rd Roger Kockelbergh (WVCC) 25.38. First female rider was Sadie Murphy (Leic Tri) 29.55, 2nd Sophie Ward (WVCC) 40.01. A good night for WVCC. We are now at the midpoint in the 2025 season with round 5 attracting 23 riders to the start on the K41/10, on a warm night, with a 7 mph breeze from the North West. Along with a number of riders joining us for the first time, we had, Junior HCRC rider riding for the first time and setting a time of 29.07. Results Overall – 1st Tommy Nolan (Ashby ICC) 21.49, 2nd Joe Murray (M I Racing) 21.57 & 3rd Paul Bavington (Team Bottrill) 21.59. First female rider was Lauren Creamer (Velo Fixers) 23.28, 2nd Zoe Shepherd (M I Racing) 26.43. HCRC Junior rider Javier Jones set his first ever time at the TNT’s of 29.07 & Joe Murray (M I Racing) set a sub 22 minute time for the first time in 15 years, great ride both. The third event of the 2025 season attracted 29 riders to the start on the K41/10, on a cool night, with a gusting wind up to 20mph from the West. The event attracted 9 riders from Ratae CC, 5 from M I Racing and 4 from WVCC and saw Carl Shaw returning to winning ways with his second win of 2025 at the TNT’s. Results Overall – 1st Carl Shaw (SpeedHub) 20.50, 2nd Oliver Searle (St Ives CC) 21.26 & 3rd Joe Murray (M I Racing) 22.34. First female rider was Zoe Shepherd (M I Racing) 26.40, 2nd Pamela Moore (CWCC) 27.07 CPB & 3rd Gillian Haywood (Nuneaton Tri) 31.46. The second event of the 2025 season attracted 35 riders to the start on the K41/10, on a warm night, with a light 3mph breeze from the North West. This event also saw the return of regular Leicester Professional rider April Tacey to the Tuesday Night 10’s following her recent victory in the Simac Omloop der Kempen Ladies Race in the Netherlands, following rides in the Trofee Maarten Wynants, Ronde de Mouscron, Paris-Roubaix Femmes avec Zwift and others recently. Results Overall – 1st Ryan Witchell (George Fox) 21.08, 2nd Carl Shaw (SpeedHub) 21.24, 3rd April Tacey (Coop Repsol) 21.44 CPB. First female rider was April Tacey (Coop Repsol) 21.44 CPB, 2nd Pamela Moore (CWCC) 27.31 PB & 3rd Cathy Scholes (Cov Tri) 30.06. 1st Hinckley rider home was Martin Wright in 25.15 & 15th overall, followed by Warren Stone 27.06 & 22nd overall and Tony Davis 29.21 & 28th overall. The HCRC Tuesday Night 10 mile TT has started again for 2025, this year with a new format seeing events being run every 2 weeks. Also new for 2025, HCRC have joined with 4 other local clubs, Welland Valley CC, Rockingham Forest Wheelers, Ratae Road Club & Leicester Forest CC to run a 9 event Round Robin 10 mile TT series running from the 12.07.25 to the 26.08.25, incorporating each clubs TT events. The first event at HCRC attracted 30 riders to the start on the K41/10, on a warm night. Results Overall – 1st Carl Shaw (SpeedHub) 21.45, 2nd Simon Law (M I Racing)22.09 and 3rd Joe Murray (M I Racing) 22.16. First female rider was Pamela Moore (CWCC) 28.02, 2nd Cathy Scholes (Cov Tri) 30.58 and 3rd Sue Cannaby (Cov Tri) 35.17. 1st Hinckley rider home was Martin Wright in 25.28 & 11th overall, followed by Tony Davis 30.43 & 23rd overall.
